Hannah Robison, Maid of Honor
According to family folklore, Hannah, before Rebekah was born and in mumbled syllables, expressed that the new baby was going to be her “other half.” And so Rebekah was welcomed into and shepherded through the world by a sister so wonderfully weird, wise, gentle and zen. From teaching Rebekah how to ride a bike and imagine the backyard into different worlds to now being a constant source of wisdom and home, she is the best other half the world has to offer.

Amarisa Robison, Bridesmaid
Rebekah is thankful for the kindred space she share

s with Amarisa. The space in which there is an abundance of chocolate and pop music, feelings and yes-anding, adventuring in multiple countries and watching Hallmark movies on the couch. She is also thankful for the space from which she can watch in proud awe as Amarisa goes boldly through the world on her own.

Elizabeth Vessey, Bridesmaid
As the oldest sister, Elizabeth defined so much of the world and growing up for Rebekah. Loyalty and independence, home and adventure, strength and care. Rebekah is so thankful for those definitions even as they both continue to redefine. No special day could be special without Elizabeth.

Erin Vaughan, Bridesmaid
With so many sisters already, Rebekah did not realize she needed any more. But from first meeting, Erin became that missing sister - ready to listen and share, eat cake and laugh, and walk through the world arm in arm Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen style. Rebekah is looking forward to a lifetime of  being enveloped in the warm and fierce embrace of being Erin’s sister.

Kezia Fullerton, Bridesmaid
The warmest supporter and generous friend, Kezia is like coming home after a long, exhausting trip. Rebekah is overwhelmed with gratitude that ten or so years ago, Kezia decided they would be friends, for Kezia does not change her mind easily and her friendship is one of the safest - and best decorated - places on earth.

Lauren Cowe, Bridesmaid
An eight-year-old Rebekah often thought to herself how lucky she was to have  Lauren as a friend. Twenty-four years later and Rebekah feels only more she is the luckiest. Lauren can laugh over the dumb and talk about the difficult, share her vulnerable and resilient, and overflow with insight and still convince Rebekah her nuggets are gold. Rebekah is so thankful for Lauren’s evolving soul and their evolving friendship.

Ruthe Robison, Bridesmaid

The youngest of the Robison sisters and by far the coolest (it’s okay, everyone agrees), Ruthe laughs herself to tears when she thinks Rebekah is being ridiculous or “dressed like a teenager.” But as loudly as she laughs, she quietly and openly listens to all joys and pains. Rebekah feels the world a softer place with Ruthe holding her heart.

Sarah Schneider, Bridesmaid
Rebekah spent all of her childhood attempting to emulate Sarah, and when emulation attempts failed, contented herself with just being her shadow. Everything Sarah did, no one could do better. And while Rebekah may have grown up - or is growing up - into her own person, she is still thankful for the model Sarah is of strength and kindness, fun and wisdom. Rebekah will always look up to her sister but is also thankful for any path in which they can walk side by side.

Abigail Schneider, Jr. Bridesmaid
Abigail the self-proclaimed “tidy rascal” is a force stronger than any Santa Ana wind. Rebekah holds dearly every conversation she has had with her curious and brilliant niece as Abigail shares stories and commentary on the world and people and exclaims “oh yeaaaah!” in response to anything she doesn’t know or remember. Rebekah misses her now fully Minnesotan niece awfully while remaining thankful that Abigail will still always be her tidy rascal niece.

Isabel Robison, Jr. Bridesmaid
The queen of feet up and body relaxed lounging and walking on her toes wherever she goes, Isabel can at one moment be quiet and deep in thought and the next moment loudly telling her Aunt Rebekah what happened at school the other day. Rebekah loves every iteration of and moment with her niece Isabel.

Madison Robison, Jr. Bridesmaid
The first of the many nieces and nephews, Madison will always hold a special place. She is creative in all of her decorating the house with ribbon or coming up with rules for new games, and silly with plenty of laughing and dancing around the living room, and kind in her warm attention to her many younger cousins and affectionate aunts and uncles. Rebekah is so proud of the person Madison is and continues to become.

Sisters, sisters - There were never such devoted sisters
