90 Rancho Road was a one-story ranch house when a family of five moved in and with the help of many years, a generous friend, and a tall Scandinavian architect, transformed into the gingerbread house it is today. It was not always quiet or tidy, but it was always cozy.
For Rebekah, this gingerbread house was home and adventure; contained and endless. From the driveway in the front, the “four little girls” performed their Olympic roller skating shows for anyone willing to watch. The leaves from the bushes served as every necessity of playing house - money, meals, and decorations. The red swing would go regularly up higher when the girls felt daring and down when it was time to relax. And the backyard with its view of Mt. Wilson was Rebekah’s green reading nook and haven in lowest moments.
It is Rebekah’s hope that you experience the same embrace of peace and benevolence this space has always for her provided.
